Wink Bad accents

Small matter - just came to mind.

Some of the characters in the cutscenes speak with accents that are more comical than anything else. I'm speaking specifically about the Vizier's pseudo-Romanian-Count Dracula impression.

But is it that atrocious? Not really.
Does it spoil my gaming experience? Not in the least.
Is it worth reallocating $$$ from game development just to hire professional Hollywood voice actors for cutscenes people will eventually end up skipping? Heck No!

I just felt like mentioning it, that's all.

Vizier? what about the Dwarves' "hispanic man trying to sound scottish" accent.

good pointless point BTW and this isn't a suggestion.

I turned off everything but battle sounds ages ago. The voice acting and music in Guildwars is horrible.

Some of it isn't that bad...some of it...Where, exactly, is Saidra supposed to be from? The same place as Evennia?

Heh... even when I have my sound on I don't even listen to this guy. He put me through so much hell during Beta with all his charging into battle before I could catch my breath. His voice falls on deaf ears...

Agree with the OP lol... weirdest thing to me is how king Jalis and his bro have completely different accents.

i still have yet to hear a single sound this game makes

muted it the first time i started the game and loaded up winamp in the background

sounds are entirely unnecessary in this game
